Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Impacting Electric Transportation
By: Christal Beauclaire
How do we ensure the growing electric mobility industry supports and benefits communities hit first and worst by air pollution? Co-organizers of the 2021 E-Mobility Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Conference, Forth and EVNoire, will elevate this question at our second annual virtual conference. Building on the success of our 2020 E-Mobility Equity Conference we have incorporated new voices, added more panel topics, and are creating even more robust networking experiences for this year's program. Register now and come away with a bigger network, further information on smart transportation and the ability to better include equity in your work!
The 2021 conference program explores how diversity, equity and inclusion impact all of the work underway in electric transportation. We’re presenting topics on gender and racial diversity, electric school buses, infrastructure expansion, federal policy, workforce development and more.

It is a top priority to host a conference that anyone can attend without financial burden. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we’re able to offer free tickets for community-based organizations, small nonprofits and government agencies. Larger non-profits (+200 employees) get the discount of $100 per ticket, and for-profit organizations also get an amazing rate to attend the conference at $150 per ticket.
Over 97% of attendees who took the 2020 post-conference survey felt that they came away with more tools and information to better include equity in their work; this year we hope to continue that trend and aim to give our attendees an experience that they can learn from and won’t be able to forget!
