The Forth Team is growing rapidly! We are thrilled to announce that we have doubled our staff in the past two months to support our expanding national footprint. We’ve expanded our programs team, communications team and welcomed a new Office Associate.

Name: Thor Hinckley
Title: Senior Program Manager
Favorite Book: Ecology of Commerce by Paul Hawken; it's a great read on how business and commerce if it chooses to, can solve the environmental/climate challenges we face.
How you get around: I'm a bit of a mixologist when it comes to getting around, my favorites include: bicycle, TriMet and our Kia Soul EV.
What are you excited to work on with Forth: Having spent an early portion of my career helping to increase the awareness and adoption of renewable energy at PGE, its very exciting to now work with Forth on increasing the adoption of electric vehicles.

Name: Steve Gutmann
Title: Senior Program Manager
Favorite Book:  A recent favorite was The Swerve: How the World Became Modern, by Stephen Greenblatt.
How you get around: Walking and biking mostly, and I sometimes drive my wife's Tesla Model 3. Zoom!
What are you excited to work on with Forth: I'm excited to work at Forth because it allows me to approach my passion for new transportation from a perspective that's more focused on maximizing public benefit, vs. pursuing the narrower interests of a specific private-sector employer.

Name: Tegan Molloy
Title: Program Manager
Favorite Book: Impossible to choose a favorite. What I'm currently reading: The Sun and Her Flowers, The Grid: Electrical Infrastructure for a New Era, and Humble Consulting: How to Provide Real Help Faster
How you get around: When I'm not on foot, bus, bike, or Lyft Line, I have the privilege of getting second dibs on driving "Brutus" the Bolt.
What are you excited to work on with Forth: Launching pilot programs that have the power to build more resilient and equitable communities. I'm also equally excited to work alongside such a talented team to make a meaningful impact.

Favorite Book: The Martian
How you get around: Public transit
What are you excited to work on with Forth: I am most excited to work on our EV Ambassador program.

Name: Eric Huang
Title: Program Manager
Favorite Book: A Cubic Mile of Oil
How you get around: Buses and trains mostly. Sometimes I drive my hybrid car, but I’m very very excited about going electric soon.
What are you excited to work on with Forth: Being able to learn more on the obstacles and opportunities of putting charging facilities into places where people can see, use, and take advantage of them. And I’m excited about making the connection and network with stakeholders in the EV world.

Name: Kevin Friedman
Title: Communications Manager
Favorite Book: The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky is likely my favorite, but Sometimes A Great Notion by Ken Kesey has an attention to detail that brings every moment to life. Also, it’s set in Oregon.
How you get around: Walk, bike, car, motorcycle.
What are you excited to work on with Forth: I'm excited to learn and to help craft Forth's message as we collaborate in the development of this rapidly growing industry.

How you get around: Car, public transit
What are you excited to work on with Forth: I'm excited to help make electric transportation more accessible to people and communities who maybe have not had much access or exposure to them previously.

Favorite Book: The Perennial Philosophy by Aldous Huxley
How you get around: Biking, running and for long trips my all-electric Nissan Leaf.
What are you excited to work on with Forth: I’m excited to work on electric vehicles as part of the sharing economy.

What are you excited to work on with Forth: I’m excited to help companies electrify their fleets and promote workplace charging.

Favorite Book: American Gods by Neil Gaiman
How you get around: Public transportation
What are you excited to work on with Forth: I am most excited in making connections to those from hard-to-reach, rural, and diverse communities and making strides in our DEI work. I am also looking forward to helping bring in the new Forth headquarters’ office and being a part of this great time during Forth’s organizational growth.
