Turning EV Credits into Community Impact
Forth serves as the Backstop Aggregator for the Oregon Clean Fuels Program (since 2018) and the Washington Clean Fuel Standard (since 2023). We help turn eligible unclaimed EV charging credits into programs and investments that expand access to clean transportation.
Forth's Approach
We run a diverse portfolio of programs, spanning EV carshare, charging access, micromobility, and farm electrification, among others, through outreach, education, technical assistance, and partnerships.
Our work is tailored to the needs of communities, utilities, employers, and local governments. We prioritize underserved communities, rural areas, and regions served by utilities that have not yet opted into Clean Fuels programs.
Our approach is equity-focused and grounded in targeted universalism: addressing the greatest barriers first while expanding access to electric mobility for all.
- Prioritize equity and access: Focus investments in communities and regions where barriers are highest.
- Leverage partnerships, funding, and community input: Work with local organizations to align resources, reflect community priorities, and maximize impact.
- Deliver a diverse, scalable portfolio of programs: Implement programs that are impactful measurable results today and can expand over the state.
We collaborate with partners such as CleanFuture to bring credits to market and Gradient Xergy to support utility engagement and technical assistance, helping ensure investments reach the communities that need them the most.
