Equitable Access to EV Charging

Clean Transportation For All: Access to EV Charging

Although most electric vehicle charging is conveniently done overnight at home, many electric car users and owners rely on public charging. This means access to public chargers, particularly equitable access, is key to EV adoption and has significant social and environmental benefits.

Providing equitable access to EV charging means that the chargers are located in places where they are convenient and easy to reach by the communities that need them. To successfully provide equitable access to charging stations, an approach centering on the preferences and needs of the community is critical.

Our speakers will highlight projects focused on creating a roadmap to achieving equitable clean transportation through access to charging stations. We will discuss projects and programs bringing access to charging infrastructure internationally.
