The Future Is Electric! Daimler’s Vision

The future is electric and the future is now! Daimler Trucks North America is at the forefront of heavy-duty fleet electrification and is revolutionizing transportation electrification in Oregon. In April, DTNA’S President and CEO, Roger Nielsen, announced that the Portland Freightliner factory will be converted for production of the eCascadia and eM2 electric trucks.

Our November networking event will be hosted at the DTNA corporate headquarters in Portland, Oregon. We will be joined by leaders in DTNA’s Electric Mobility Group to discuss future strategies for managing the increasingly heavy electrical load.

Our speaker Alex Voets, eMobility Product Marketing and Sales Strategy Manager Daimler Trucks North America, will highlight use cases and deployment of battery-electric trucks. At this event, we will explore the future of heavy-duty electrification and how it will shape manufacturing in Oregon.
