It’s that time of the year again! We took some time off as we ramped up for Roadmap 11 and now we are back and ready to highlight some of the emerging topics in the electric, shared and smart mobility space. Our monthly networking events are held in both Seattle and Portland and include one to two guest speakers, a hosted happy hour and are attended by representatives of utilities, charging station firms, local government agencies, startups and other NGOs.
This fall we will highlight themes that cover a wide range of topics in the electric mobility industry, from EV marketing and consumer engagement to the future of autonomous transportation technology. You can read about our past networking events and view speaker presentations on our News & Updates page.
September, we will cover the advancement of shared mobility in urban areas both in Seattle and Portland.
We will be joined by guest speakers Alan Bates, Pacific Northwest Manager at Envoy and Isaac Gross, Seattle General Manager at Lime. They will discuss their companies’ inclusion of electric vehicles to their fleets, the growth of the shared mobility sector and how it is impacting transportation in large cities like Seattle.
In Portland, we will be joined by Jon Isaacs, Public Affairs Manager at Uber. He will be discussing Uber’s EV Champions initiative to support driver partners who have made the choice to drive an electric car and improve the rider experience when they are matched with an EV.
For October, we will be looking into the future of autonomous vehicles. Our speakers will discuss advancements in transportation technologies and how different companies like Waymo and Daimler are currently investing to drastically change the way we get around. We will elaborate on some of the trends we see now, the successes and the challenges of the autonomous vehicle sector. Join us in Seattle (10/3) and in Portland on (10/17).
EV marketing will be the focus at our November networking events in Seattle (11/7) and Portland (11/8). We will discuss some challenges and successes when it comes to marketing EVs to consumers. One of the largest barriers to electric car adoption is the lack of EV education and consumer perceptions of what an EV can do. At our event we will highlight marketing campaign design strategies, lesson learned and the success of campaigns.
December is a time for celebration! Join us as we celebrate the growth that the electric, shared and smart mobility industry has experienced over the past twelve months! Our December events will take place in both Seattle (12/5) and Portland (12/15).
