We opened our doors as Drive Oregon in 2011, when the first mass-market electric vehicles were just coming to showrooms and autonomous cars were a science fiction fantasy. Six years later, transportation has transformed—and we’re transforming, too.

We’re excited to introduce Forth, a new brand for a new era of electric, smart and shared mobility. 

We’re proud of Drive Oregon’s efforts to advance transportation over the past six years. Working with our members and partners, we have had many successes, including integrating electric mobility into the state’s groundbreaking clean energy law and bringing electric car sharing to low-income communities. 

But with mobility evolving rapidly, it’s time for us to expand our vision so we can bring more people and companies together to define the future of getting around. That’s why we’re becoming Forth—and here’s how we’re evolving:

• A broader outlook: The Pacific Northwest is an epicenter of change, with boundary-pushing companies, forward-looking consumers and a culture oriented toward sustainability. As Forth, we’ll expand our work into Washington and beyond. 

• Smart, shared, electric: The new era of mobility isn’t only electric—it’s smart and shared too. We’re broadening our vision to support a wider range of smarter, safer and more sustainable transportation options.

• A community call-to-action: We’ve built a strong network of business and community partners. Now we’re expanding our work to get their great products, platforms and services in front of even more consumers through events, outreach, demonstration projects and more.

• A growing team: We’re growing our team to support our expanded efforts and double down on the work we’ve been doing all along. Say hello to your new team at the next networking event!
