EVs and Chargers for Underserved Communities
AMP (The Affordable Mobility Platform ) provides access to electric vehicles at affordable housing in underserved communities to reduce barriers to transportation options and EV adoption.
AMP will deploy 50 shared EVs and level-2 chargers at affordable housing locations and in underserved communities in eight states through the end of 2025.
Primarily funded by the U.S. Department of Energy's Vehicle Technology Office, the AMP Project also receives matching funds from other entities.

Resources
Through the AMP program, Forth issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to find a national vendor to support carsharing and public charging as part of a grant-funded project. You can download the RFP template here.
Forth partnered with Portland State University to conduct Transportation Need Assessments (TNAs) during each site selection. These assessments offer data summaries relevant to specific stakeholders and can serve as a template for future projects.
